Utilising the lessons I learnt on Stephen Silver's Schoolism course, I decided to take a character concept from start to finish.
A young woman discovers a strange creature living in a
storage basement of her new city flat. Decides to look after it. Following the
adventures of squishy in the city of London.

Squishy – a small squishy creature with stretchy
arms and no legs. About 30 cm tall. Eats socks and other strange things.
Communicates by making noises. Baby like and curious.

Kate – A young 20 something that has moved to
the city to work. Kind of plain with a fringe and large nose. Kind of
exasperated with her job but cares for people.
·
Cat – Kate’s mean fat cat. Jealous of squishy
and wants to eat him. Always gets hurt in the process.
