Superman has turned 75. And I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you all why I like him so much. I've heard all the arguments about him being lame, he's over-powered, he's a too goody goody, he's not relatable because he's so strong and to those people who say that I say, you obviously haven't read a Superman comic at all. The truth is Clark Kent is the most humanly flawed and relatable character in all comics. He's an ordinary person, gullible, naive, caring, loving human, but he can do all these incredible things. And it's the fact that he chooses to do the right thing no matter the circumstances shows a moral strength that we should all emulate and look up to. He doesn't do it out of guilt or some vengeance issues, he just does what he does because it's the right thing to do. And to me that's what a superhero should do, that's what we all should do. So Happy Birthday Kal-El, you show everyone how to be a bit more heroic.
