Finally some good news and Requests

I finally have some good news. I got two weeks work experience starting the 25th October at Uli Meyer Studios. I'm also supposed to have an interview with Strongman games next week. I'm also doing some animation for King Bee Studios and animating a music video for the droomweavers Euro ABCD book.

Chuck Jones, Drawings and Requests

I wanted to do this a celebration of one of my favourite directors, Chuck Jones. Like when Chuck Jones took over the Tom and Jerry unit I always wondered what it would be like if Chuck Jones took his hand to the Disney Crew. Unfortunately, we will never know. Rest in peace Chuck Jones.

I have redesigned my scarecrow character. Through no fault of my own, he ended up looking a bit like Earthworm Jim, so I changed him.

I have some good news at the moment. I working voluntarily on a Television Pilot. No pay of course, but it should be experience for my reel. 2 minutes of 2D animation is a lot of work but it will be worth it. I'll post more when I find out some more.

Additional Skills and Experience

At Ravensbourne, as the director of a group of nine people on a student film I gained the ability to adhere to a production schedules, manage a group of creative people, calculate invoices and costs of projects and learnt to deal with outside voice actors and other clients. I also gained a good understanding of animation principles and learnt to draw to consistently well at a quick pace. Finally I gained a good understanding of the creative side of the industry.
