I now know if I am doing the Nickelodeon Contest or not. I am not doing it. Even though Mike said my pitch had great potential, he said it was not successful at this time.
In an e-mail correspondence back, Mike said he felt that the other pitches were better and deserved to be green lit.

Showreel Stress
This term has gone off to a bit of a bad start. Not only have I got two projects to do at the same time, go to drtcva205.blogspot.com to find out more about that, but I also have to do a show reel. This show reel must not be some long quicktime file on a blank DVD, it must be a professional thing, with sections, and animated menus with sounds and things. The DVD must have a label printed on it and have a case etc. That's a lot of extra work. Not to mention what to put on the show reel. I don't have a lot of stuff collectively, not to mention syphoning through to find the best. Re-editing, re-rendering, re-colouring, everything will need a touch up. I don't even think my work is good enough. Oh Spoot!

New Term
Well Summer term starts on Monday. It's going to be difficult. There's this Nickelodeon U.K. Project which if the teacher likes it, we then have to pitch to Nickelodeon. I'm nervous, right now I'm having all these feelings that I hope my idea is o.k., will it work etc. We also have to produce a show reel for a degree show, where our work will be on show to professionals. I do hope everything goes well.
See you later.
