Well, only one more week left of Easter Holidays. The holidays have gone really quickly. I haven't done much this holiday. I've got a bit of the back to college blues. I really need to finalise this Nickelodeon project. I've hit a creative wall, having trouble thinking of anything.
I have set up a Channel Frederator and Deviant Art account, widen the net so too speak.
Anyone else got the back to college/school blues.
Bye!

Redone CVA 204
Hi,
I really wasn't happy with the little girl, so I took a few days out of my holiday break to redo it. I had to re-parent some things, re-animated, and not use IK for the hair. I also learned how to use the Trak editor. Can you see the difference. I hope you like it.
I really got to start thinking about that Nickelodeon project.

Term's work
Here's what I have done this term.
If you go to my other blog drtcva204.blogspot.com, you will see how my CVA 204 project came about. I have miked feelings about the results. I am happy with the character designs, but the animation. The gorilla's pretty good, but the little girl bops up and down. Also I couldn't get the hair to work properly again. I have decided however, that I dislike modelling and rigging.
For this project we each had to take the same footage and edited and add special effects to it in different ways. This was my approach. I enjoyed this. By the way, that's my friend Al with me in the picture. Thanks to Simon, Harry and Gareth, our teacher.

Holidays and Doodles
Hi,
College has ended for a while and I am on break now, so I thought it is time to update this old thing. Before I talk about what I did this term, (next post I promise), I would like to put some doodles up I have done during my spare time. So here they are:
This first one is a nice drawing of the two characters I created over Christmas. These designs might change as I am thinking of using them in a project next term.
These are some Tag the bunny expressions. I got that NickToons book over Christmas, great book, and have tried to get better at doing exaggerated Ren and Stimpy expressions.
I wanted to practice how to do comic panels so I copied a Dragonball and Dragonball Z page, using Doodleboy. Arranging comic panels is an art in itself.
Here is the new design of Baby Boo Boo, I shortened the arms to make him cuter.
Here is a picture of Bob. I haven't drawn him for a while, but I decided to turn his eyes black and pupils white, like the Joker in Batman the animated series. What do you think?
This is the only piece of Fan Art here. I read on Jerry Beck's website Cartoon Brew that they are making a Japanese Stitch TV show. Huh?

Here are the girls again. I've been using Tom Bancroft's character design book for help.
I've tried to get a more comic book look to the Toons in this picture.
Here's the new design for Stitchbag. The one arm is cool. He needs a better name though.
Hope you like it.
